Design Ideas

Are you short on time, aren't feeling particularly inspired or creative, but want your slides to 'pop'?  Design Ideas to the rescue!

First, let's locate the Design Ideas button is on the Home tab. This button can also be found on the Design tab and in some versions is named Designer.

Now let's apply designs to our slides with a couple of easy clicks! Simply select your slide and click the Design Ideas button to open and view the designs. Then click the various ideas until you find one you like.

EXAMPLE 1: SLIDE WITH IMAGES BEFORE:

As much as we love Design Ideas, they are always on by default, which can become an annoyance.

 

To adjust this setting, click the File tab, OptionsGeneral category, and scroll down to uncheck automatically show design ideas.
